This beautiful antique 18ct Gold Victorian Suffragette bracelet is Circa 1900.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery popularly consisted of Violet Green and White colours which were chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking! Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes!
The wonderful bracelet is adorned with pink and green Tourmaline’s which are encircled by lovely cream Pearls.
Green and Pink Tourmaline’s carry the virtue of unconditional love and friendship. They are believed to channel love and energy to ones heart.
The bracelet is set in 18ct Yellow Gold and fitted with a secure clasp and safety chain too.
